This was a demonstration bus.
This was a dmonstration 'ping-pong' bus, that it went back and forth to the dealers, and the reason for this too-ing and fro-ing was to test the new technology (for Brisbane that was), the automatic transmission, the air suspension and the medium-weight Reliance chassis withan engine that was considered to be powerful enough for a flat city, but suffered from having a head-gasket problem.
